Portraits from the studio and the street
Ari Marcopoulos (Amsterdam, 1957) left for New York december 6th 1980. During two years he printed Andy Warhol's photographs, and from 1982 to 1984, he was an apprentice with Irving Penn. After he left Irving Penn, he started working as free-lance photographer. "Portraits from the studio and the street" is his first book.
