Omschrijving
Dan Graham's (*1942) body of art and theory has become a key part of the Conceptual art canon. He is a highly influential figure in the field of Contemporary art, both as a practitioner and as a well-respected critic and theorist. His work questions the relationship between people and architecture and the psychological effects it has on us. It highlights the awkwardness that occurs when intimate moments or details are rudimentarily broadcast in an impersonal manner, as he continues to investigate the voyeuristic act of seeing onself reflected, whilst at the same time watching others. This monograph analyzes his main works and collects some of the seminal writing by the artist.
